I am an experienced and fully qualified, Registered and BACP Accredited Counsellor & an EMDR Psychotherapist. I have a wide range of experience working with issues of such as relationship endings, divorce, separation, difficult family dynamics, and difficulties in everyday relationships. I have extensive experience providing psychological therapy in depression or sadness, bereavement, low self-esteem, and a host of other issues that us humans may encounter along life’s journey.
I have over 20 years’ experience in setting up and/or managing mental health services in the voluntary, private and public sectors. I have also run my own psychological therapy private practice alongside this for over 15 years. For many years I worked as a Tutor at The London Metropolitan University, and later at the Birkbeck College, London University training & teaching on both master’s degree and Introductory psychological course.
I aim, always to create an environment which feels safe, secure and confidential allow you to explore at some difficult feelings and experiences. I will come alongside you to explore any past problems and experiences that may now have resurfaced for you, working through whatever it is that troubles you.

I was responsible for the setting up and the management of Islington Mind Counselling Service as the Counselling Service Manager & Clinical Supervisor from 2010 to 2016
